At the bottom right corner of the Property inspector, you can see a small arrow. You can click this arrow to reveal additional attributes that let you control more advance features.

If you want to continue adding text and you don't wnat it to be indented, choose Text -> Format -> None to transition back to plain text mode without the indent.

If the page is part of a frameset, use the Target field in the Property inspector to specify which frame the linked page should open into.

If you are not happy with the FTP capabilities of Dreamweaver, you may want to get a dedicated FTP program to upload your pages.

If a Tracing image doesn't appear, make sure that you have a check next to Show when you choose View -> Tracing Image -> Show

Each button state tab in the Button Editor includes instructions on how to use the Button Editor to build your button. The instructions are displayed in the bottom of the window for each tab you click.

One of the most common questions about images for the Web is when you use GIF and when to use JPEG.  Use GIF for line art, such as one or two color logos, simple drawings, and text.  Use JPEG for colorful, complex images, such as photographs.

Carefully name the files that you save in a way the helps you keep them in order and know which is which.

The Target drop-down list in the Property inspector is activated only when you select a linked image or section of text.

Table dimensions, expressed as a percentage, enable you to create a table that changes in size as the browser window is resized. If you want a table to always take up 75% of the browser window, for instance, percentages are a good way to specify table size.
